Two of the world’s biggest artists, Rita Ora and Rudimental will headline the first ever Derby Sound festival at The Pattonair County Ground (Derbyshire County Cricket Ground) this summer – just down the road from the Meteor Centre, on Saturday 3 August.
The one-day festival, presented by D-Hive, will be the biggest of its kind in the city and brings together two giants of pop music, alongside The Vamps and X-Factor winners, Rak-Su. Rudimental have sold over 20 million singles, while Rita Ora currently holds the UK chart record for the most Top 10 singles by a UK female artist, and both are set to perform in front of a capacity crowd in the heart of Derby this summer.
Tickets are priced at £55 + booking fee and can be purchased from www.derbyshireccc.com
Ryan Duckett, Chief Executive of Derbyshire County Cricket Club, said: “Following the success of the concerts we have hosted over the last few years, the Club is delighted to be able to host another major music event at the Pattonair County Ground this summer. Rudimental, Rita Ora, The Vamps and Rak-Su all have a huge following, and I am sure it will be another great event for the city and the wider region.”
